It's the last 15" PowerBook model with DDR2 RAM which has been maxed out to 2GB. This was also a refurb from the Apple store and I should still have the box in the loft. I'd do a clean restore of Tiger+iLife06 and include the disks. ?650 ovno.
Spec is 2gb RAM, 128mb VRAM (1440 x 960), 75gb HD, modem, PCMCIA/cardbus, minijack audio I/O, DVI, S-VHS, Gigabit ethernet, Bluetooth, Airport 802.11g, Firewire 800, Firewire 400, USB 2.0, backlit keyboard, 8x DL DVD+/-R, Ambient light sensor, Sudden motion detector.
There is some very light scuffing on parts of the aluminium finish where it's been used out in the field. Which is one of the reasons I'm selling it - I've found that it's a little bit too big to be practical in some situations.

My MacBook is due to arrive end of this week and I'll need to convert the PowerBook to cash ASAP, so it'll be going up on eBay.

Hmmmm, now time to sound like a complete kool-aid drinking fanboy-
2003 - got my 12" PowerBook, new (since sold on ebay)
2005 - got a Mac mini, new, for family use (still in service)
2005 - got a used G3 iBook for my daughter (still in service)
2006 - got my 15" PowerBook, refurb (in service for another week or so)
2006 - got a used G4 iBook for my son (still in service)
2007 - soon to get a Core 2 Duo MacBook, refurb
So to say Apple has me hook line and sinker is somewhat of an understatement! (but of course, more importantly, all my data is in 'open' and platform agnostic formats since I spent 2002 - 2003 using GNU/Linux as my personal computing platform)
In the pre-OS X days I really used to trash Macs, as you may remember

I use to be a Mac fanatic, as you well know. But you beat me by miles. I'm on my second new Mac. G4 Graphite 350 was the first in '99, and my G4 iBook replaced it 2 years ago.
I've bought a few original G3 iMacs off ebay for friends, well worth a dip for nostalgia value and at around ?50 for a good spec machine (cheaper than Nortons Antivirus if you know what I mean). You can't help but smile when you look at them.
I'm looking for a mint Mac G4 Cube, with original packaging.
Funny, I remember your objection to Macs. I've still got no idea what Linux is about, thats kind of sad.
